FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition is now available for download.

FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition is a scalable, robust fax server application powered by a Microsoft SQL engine. Testers of FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition reported a huge benefit when fax-enabling their third-party software applications. By storing all of the fax data and images right in the SQL system, they could easily connect and integrate with FACSys. "Some customers may not require enterprise class network load balancing, clustered SQL failover and other high-end scalability", said Paul Bird, Director of Sales at emFAST. "For those people, FACSys 4.91 will remain a viable alternative for the foreseeable future."

FACSys 5.0 Enterprise Edition also includes automatic server to server failover, scalability for thousands of users and millions of documents, direct access from Outlook, Active Directory Integration, single secure login to multiple servers, support for T.37/T.38 IP Fax Protocols, support for Cantata Technology's (formerly Brooktrout)High Performance SR140 Host-Based Fax Processing Technology, backward compatibility to existing applications written with the FACSys Active Fax Messaging Software Development Kit (AFMSDK) and compatibility with any document management program.

FACSys can fax-enable SAP, Siebel, Microsoft CRM and Oracle among others. In fact, ANY application that can print or e-mail a document can easily be fax-enabled using FACSys. The AFMSDK supports programming in C#, VB.NET, ASP/VBScript, ASP/Jscript, C/C++ as well as VB.
