ActivIdentity Joins SafeBoot® Certified Token Partners Program
Nieuwegein, The Netherlands and Fremont , CA /November 28, 2006:

SafeBoot®, vendor-of-choice for mobile data security and access control solutions, today announced that ActivIdentity (NASDAQ: ACTI), a leading provider of digital identity assurance solutions for the secure issuance, management and use of single secure digital identities, joined the SafeBoot Certified Token Partners Program.

The SafeBoot suite of encryption and access control solutions integrate seamlessly with ActivIdentity's authentication technology to secure enterprise-wide data on hard-drives and in files and folders - ensuring the integrity of sensitive information.

The paired technologies secure all data on PCs, laptops and mobile devices. The partnership combines ActivIdentity authentication software, ActivClient, and ActivIdentity smart cards and tokens, such as ActivKey, to prove a user's identity, with SafeBoot Device Encryption, a drive and content encryption technology. ActivClient securely stores and operates the keys necessary to decrypt data once the user authenticates their identity.

"By partnering with leading digital identification vendors like ActivIdentity, we are able to offer interoperable security solutions that provide peace-of-mind to organizations," said Frank Jorissen, vice president international business development at SafeBoot.

"With SafeBoot and ActivIdentity, sensitive files are fully protected whether they are stored on the hard drive, file server or any type of removable media."

"Customers can now seamlessly integrate SafeBoot's encryption technology with ActivClient, for an even higher level of protection for their sensitive data," said ActivIdentity Vice President and General Manager EMEA Marc Hudavert.
