| Notes: |
- For optimum performance, it is recommended that the FACSys Fax Server be operated on a dedicated physical or virtual server. Please note that this is not a software requirement.
- FACSys should NOT be installed on the same server as the Microsoft
Exchange Server, particularly for server-side rendering of attachments. Rendering requires additional server CPU resources and memory which will impact server performance.
- FACSys version 5.1 fully supports deployment on Microsoft
Windows 2008 Server. Bear in mind that the complete fax server solution is subject to the availability of Microsoft Windows 2008 Server drivers for fax devices/FoIP software deployed along with FACSys 5.1. Currently Mainpine, Dialogic Brooktrout 1034 and SR140 and FACSys FoIP have such drivers available.
